Blue River Family Center
Committed to quality early childhood education
Philosophy:
We believe each individual is
unique and that growth takes place in orderly sequences. Development of
the whole person depends on appropriate physical, intellectual, emotional
and social nourishment.
It is the philosophy of the
Blue River Family Center that children learn through play using a combination
of a developmental and High Scope Curriculum. Learning centers will be
used to provide a variety of play experiences in a stimulation, safe and
caring environment. These learning centers will be used to nurture and
develop all areas of the whole child including their physical, emotional,
social and cognitive areas.
Quality:
-
Low teacher to child ratio.
-
Specialized staff trained with
skills in early childhood and child development.
-
Promote development of the whole
child through developmentally appropriate practices.
Time:
-
Preschool and continual care:
Hours of operation (tentatively)

-

Program:
The goal of our program is to
provide high quality early education and care. As we believe that education
is more than a few morning hours experience, we will provide not only a
morning preschool, but a whole day's worth of care and learning experiences
to promote the growth and development of each individual child.
Activities and experiences
will be designed to encourage exploration of the environment using child's
play to grow and learn.
Our program offers:
-
Hands-on learning experiences
-
Field trips
-
Music and movement
-
Fun and stimulating playground
-
New, clean, safe and creative
